Ebola

This section provides information on the package of measures for vigilance and emergency response in the event that a probable or confirmed case of Ebola is detected in Luxembourg. 

The 'Government plan' section presents the Ebola emergency response plan and its aims as well as the actions the authorities should take when a probable or confirmed case of Ebola must be repatriated from the country of origin to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg or is detected within national territory. 

The 'Prevention and care' section describes the precautions which should be taken when travelling, the care provided as well as current treatments for the disease. 

The 'General information' section describes the origins of the disease and the current epidemic in West Africa, the incubation period and the symptoms, explains how it is transmitted and presents the transmission risk levels depending on the type of contact.
