  • When a storm is approaching, take wind-sensitive objects out of the way (garden furniture, parasols, etc.);
  • Do not take shelter under trees, especially not a lone tree;
  • If you are in an exposed spot, crouch down as low as possible, feet together, head between folded arms and pressed against your knees;
  • Avoid walking in the woods;
  • Avoid the vicinity of water;
  • Avoid using corded telephones and electrical appliances;
  • Rapidly report any fires you may witness;
  • Keep informed about the weather situation, preferably via meteolux.lu, and adapt your behaviour according to how the situation develops;
  • Be extra vigilant.
