Assessment of the terrorist threat in Luxembourg following the terrorist attack on 22 March 2024 in Moscow (25.03.2024)

Following the terrorist attack on 22 March 2024, the Anti-terrorism Coordination Group (Groupe de coordination en matière de lutte contre le terrorisme, GCT) met at the Prime Minister's request in order to assess the possible threat on Luxembourg territory.

In the light of the information currently available, the GCT has no information that indicates any likely and concrete threat within the Grand Duchy.

Consequently, threat level 2 remains in force. In compliance with the VIGILNAT plan, level 2 is triggered when the terrorist threat is judged to be real but abstract.

The GCT will continue to monitor the situation.
