Red alert: severe ice warning Meeting of the "extreme weather conditions" crisis unit on Wednesday 17 January

The "extreme weather conditions" crisis unit met again on Wednesday 17 January 2024 at 6am under the chairmanship of the Minister for Home Affairs, Léon Gloden, to review the evolution of the situation.

The weather forecast confirmed the passage of heavy freezing rain from 6.00 to early afternoon (14.00).

During the afternoon, the rain will gradually change to snow. The measures communicated last night by the crisis unit will be maintained.
