Due to the orange alert heat warning issued by MeteoLux for the south of the country on Wednesday 13 August between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., with maximum temperatures expected to reach 33–35°C and up to 36°C in urban areas, the Weather and Flood Risk Assessment Unit (CERI) met today to analyse the situation.
The CERI would like to remind the public of the measures to take to limit the effects of the heat in the coming days:
The CERI is not planning any further meetings, but the relevant services will continue to monitor the situation closely.
